Service Scope – Lavatú Laundry
At Lavatú Laundry, we offer washing in water, drying, folding, and ironing services for personal garments and institutional textiles, ensuring quality, transparency, and responsible care.
Our service is carried out exclusively with water-based laundry equipment. Ironing is only included when specifically requested by the customer. We do not provide dry cleaning, laundry in solvents, or specialized stain removal. Manual scrubbing or stain treatment per garment is not included in the basic service; it will only be performed upon explicit customer request and will incur an additional cost.
The scope of our service does not include separating garments that may bleed color, checking individual labels, verifying garment conditions, or reviewing stains before the wash. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to inform us of these conditions at the time of drop-off and to specify how the garments should be washed. Lavatú will not be held liable for any issues that were not reported in advance.
Similarly, Lavatú is not responsible for unregistered garments, forgotten items in pockets, or changes in color, size, texture, or quality resulting from the materials’ manufacturing process.
Delivery times, machine availability, and service fees are always subject to what is communicated at our store, on our website, or through our official customer service channels.
By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Garment Registration
- To ensure proper handling of your clothing, please provide details of quantity, garment type, and special washing conditions at drop-off.
- Request a service order from our staff where this information is recorded.
We are not responsible for garments that were not properly registered.
2. Type of Washing
Our service is performed exclusively with water-based washing equipment.
We do not offer dry cleaning.
3. Stains and Special Products
In exceptional cases, our staff may manually scrub small, recent stains.
If stains persist, special stain-removal products may be used at an additional cost per garment, quoted on a case-by-case basis.
4. Clothing Separation by Color
If you would like white and dark clothes separated to prevent color transfer, each load will be charged separately based on its weight and wash cycle.
5. Washing Plans per Load (up to 8 kg):
Light Cycle: up to 3 kg | light soil.
Medium Cycle: 3 to 5 kg | moderate soil.
Heavy Cycle: 5 to 8 kg | heavy soil or bulky loads.
Loads are weighed before washing to guarantee fair pricing and optimal results.
6. Industrial Washing (Over 8 kg):
Loads exceeding 8 kg per cycle are processed with industrial equipment.
Pricing is calculated by multiplying the total weight by the current per-kilo rate.
Always check the updated price list at our store or website before confirming service.
7. Special Washing Conditions
Garments requiring special care (no spin-dry, air-dry, etc.) must be placed in a separate bag and communicated to our staff.
Customers are responsible for checking garment labels and informing us whether the item can be washed in water or requires special handling.
8. Ironing Service
Ironing has an additional cost per garment and is only performed upon customer request.
Consult our price list in-store or on our website.
9. Forgotten Items in Clothing
We are not responsible for objects, jewelry, money, or documents left in garments.
Please check your clothing before drop-off.
10. Claims
Any issue with the service must be reported within 48 hours after delivery.
Claims made after this period cannot be accepted.
11. Security
Our facility is monitored by 14 CCTV cameras in washing, drying, and folding areas to ensure service quality and customer confidence.
12. Service Guarantee
Due to variations in fabric manufacturing, quality, textures, or dyes, we cannot guarantee that garments will not experience changes during washing, drying, or ironing.
13. Machine Availability
Self-service laundry is subject to machine availability upon arrival.
If machines are unavailable, our staff will inform you of waiting times or offer assisted service options.
14. (4) Hour Wash Service
Applies only to self-service and depends on machine availability.
Please check with our staff in advance.
15. Service Hours
Monday to Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sundays: Closed.
Holidays: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (subject to demand and seasonal variations).
We recommend checking updated hours on Google My Business or our website.
16. Delivery Schedule – Assisted Laundry
Deliveries are made between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Maximum waiting time: 10 minutes.

17. Services Not Available
At Lavatú, we do not provide the following services:
Dry cleaning.
Traditional dry-cleaner services.
Washing of rigid or oversized rugs.
Washing of curtains with rigid panels or synthetic fabrics that may be damaged.
Washing of shoes or sneakers that cannot be washed in water, either by hand or machine, especially if made of leather, synthetic fabrics, or other delicate materials.
